CFIS 2023 – Conference on Fire Safety at Sea

The LASH FIRE consortium invites all maritime stakeholders to the CFIS 2023 – Conference on Fire Safety at Sea in Pula, Croatia on 28 June 2023.

This is the final public conference of the EU-funded project ‘Legislative Assessment for Safety Hazards of Fire and Innovations in Ro-Ro ship Environment’.

Zweiter MariLightCluster Technologietransfer-Workshop 2022 

 Ein Einblick in gelungene Leichtbauanwendungen verschiedenster Gebiete geben Experten aus Wirtschaft und Wissenschaft wieder auf dem zweiten Technologietransfer-Workshop des MariLightCluster-Vorhabens, der am Mittwoch, den 19. Oktober 2022 als Präsenzveranstaltung im Hotel Hafen Hamburg stattfinden wird. Den Auftakt des Workshops bildet bereits am Dienstag, den 18. Oktober 2022 eine Abendveranstaltung, die allen Teilnehmenden zahlreiche Möglichkeiten zum Austausch und Netzwerken bieten wird.

Neben den MariLight-Mitgliedern sind dazu alle Leichtbau-Akteure der maritimen Industrie und Interessierte anderer Branchen herzlich eingeladen.

Folgende Unternehmen und Institutionen geben umfassende Einblicke in verschiedene Leichtbau-Innovationen und -Produkte, Forschungs- und Entwicklungsprojekte und Technologietransfer-Potenziale: Center of Maritime Technologies gGmbH (CMT), European Lightweight Association (ELA), Fraunhofer-Institut für Betriebsfestigkeit und Systemzuverlässigkeit LBF, CompriseTec GmbH, TGM Lightweight Solutions GmbH, M&D Composites Technology GmbH, Photon Laser Manufacturing GmbH u.a.

Mari4_YARD project aims at implementing a portfolio of worker-centric solutions, by relying on novel collaborative robotics and ubiquitous portable solutions, enabling modular and reconfigurable solutions targeting the execution of labour-intensive tasks by preserving industry-specific workers’ knowledge and skills.

This workshop aims to present Mari4_YARD ambitions and collect feedback from its stakeholders in order to provide user-centred solutions.

]]> The NAVAIS Team invites to the final conference of the NAVAIS project which is held on Monday 30th May 2022 from 13:00 to 17:30 at RDM Next-De Loft at Rotterdam.Over the last four years NAVAIS has developed a modular design and production approach supported by the 3DEXPERIENCE® platform. The approach will increase efficiency in vessel design and flexibility in production networks. NAVAIS has specifically focused on ferries and multi-use workboats. Overall, NAVAIS will allow shorter lead-times, constant quality, reduced design and production costs and better integration of the SME supply chain, thereby increasing competitiveness of the European shipbuilding industry.
During the conference, we will have the pleasure to share with you the main results of the project and how they will impact the future of the shipbuilding industry. Find below the program of this event:
